Street Safety Training - Group Classes

SST classes run throughout the year. Classes run for 8 weeks, with 2 classes per week. Each class lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours, and is held in various outdoor locations throughout Kelowna, BC and the Okanagan region.

This is much more than your average sit, stay come training!  You and your dog will experience many new and exciting situations, sounds, smells and sights together and find yourselves in many different locations and circumstances, from town parks and suburban neighbourhoods to busy streets and city traffic.

The only equipment you will need is a martingale collar and a 6’ leash. The Hustle Up brand of collars and leashes are available for purchase from me during the first class, if you need. Dress comfortably with suitable footwear and come prepared to be on the move!

Classes are cancelled if it is colder than -15 degrees Celsius with wind chill according to The Weather Network, or if there is risk of lightning. Make up classes will be added within or at the end of your 8 week session.

Please note, no refunds are given. Once you start the course you are committed to educating your dog!

Cost:     $400 per 8 week session.

If you have 2 dogs, we offer a $150 discount for the second dog. ($650 for 2 dogs in the same family to join class)

Prices are based on the number of dogs in your family attending. We strongly encourage other human members of your family (wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, kids) to participate in the training too. This lends to greater knowledge and consistency in training your dog/s.

Many owners have to choose between going to the gym while leaving their dog at home or sacrificing their workout to walk their dog. With 6Legs to Fitness™ owners get an intense, fun workout while their dog gets to socialize, bond with their owner, and get a mental and physical workout of their own.

Classes are tons of fun for people of all ages and athletic ability. For class dates, times and locations please contact me. Class will be canceled if it is colder than -5, if there is rain or snow forecast, or if there is a risk of lightning, according to The Weather Network,. All dogs MUST have a Martingale style collar and a 6 foot leash – both are available for purchase through me.

Private Consultations

Individual one on one lessons are available in your home, or at a mutually agreed upon location. I will evaluate your dog in your home setting and address your specific individual needs and any concerns you may be having. A minimum of two sessions are recommended.

Sessions last from 1.5-2 hours
